Stacking the Shelves [2]

Happy Saturday, friends. It’s finally the weekend and what’s more exciting than no classes…? New books! That’s right, today I will be participating in Stacking the Shelves, a blog meme where you share your newly acquired books from the week! It is hosted by Tynga’s Reviews and Reading Reality.

This week I purchased two new books that I am very excited to dive into. Let’s get started!

Can you technically count two books as self control? For my sanity, I hope so! It really could have been waaaaay worse because I went to a used bookstore and had three books in my arms when I realized that they weren’t high-priority reads and would probably get immediately backlisted. Instead, I bought these two books at target when I went shopping for a TBR cart (I know, I truly make those necessary purchases), and I could not be more excited for them both!

American Royals is a book that has been on my radar for months and I am so excited to finally have it in my possession. I actually devoured it as soon as I got back from the store so, if you’re interested, feel free to check out my review for it here. I have also been dying to read They Wish They Were Us ever since I heard that it was going to be made into a show! Not only does the story sound awesome, but I have been craving a good mystery thriller and I think this one will do just the trick.

Have you heard of or read any of the books I got? If so, what did you think of them? What books have you recently acquired?

Until next time, happy reading! ♡
