Can’t-Wait Wednesday: The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

Happy Wednesday! Today I will be participating in Can’t-Wait Wednesday, a weekly meme where you share an upcoming anticipated release. This is hosted by Wishful Endings!

This week I will be featuring…

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V.E. Schwab

Release: October 6, 2020

Publisher: Tor Books

Genres: Adult, Fantasy, Romance, Historical Fiction

Synopsis via Goodreads: France, 1714: in a moment of desperation, a young woman makes a Faustian bargain to live forever and is cursed to be forgotten by everyone she meets.

Thus begins the extraordinary life of Addie LaRue, and a dazzling adventure that will play out across centuries and continents, across history and art, as a young woman learns how far she will go to leave her mark on the world.

But everything changes when, after nearly 300 years, Addie stumbles across a young man in a hidden bookstore and he remembers her name.

I have been anticipating this release ever since this book was an untitled page on goodreads. The story sounds so beautiful and is something that I have never seen before. I already know that this will be an emotional (possibly heartbreaking) read but I am all for it! I have never read any of Victoria’s writing before and have heard amazing things so I am ready to finally have this book in my possession at the beginning of October. 😊

Have you heard of Addie LaRue? If so, is this a book you think you’d enjoy? What are some other releases that you are excited for?

Until next time, happy reading! β™‘

  1. The more I hear about this one, the more I want to read it. I haven’t yet read anything by this author, but I’ve been wanting to for years now. I hope you love this one when you read it. Have a great week!
